OIA - Stairs

Oia is considered the most picturesque village of Santorini. Its beauty is unprecedented. It is a synthesis of white - a canvas that is difficult to put in words. It is a rather peaceful and idyllic village that comes alive during the sunset time.

The sunset in Oia holds a whole different meaning. People gather in the streets, on stairs and rooftops in order to cherish the sunset.

AKROTIRI - Arch

Akrotiri is built on the slopes of a hill offering staggering views of the caldera cliffs. On top of this hill, there are remains of a Venetian castle. Much of the town is built around the ruins of a 13th-century fortress, the Castle of Akrotiri.

FIRA - Bridge 

Fira is the beautiful capital of the island with its cosmopolitan setting and decant architecture.

The highlights of the capital are the traditional houses which blend with the lovely Venetian characteristics like the arches, bridges and the colourful stairs.  

Made from a natural soy wax blend, each candle is hand-poured with love.

Behind The Brand - Soy Society

Soy Society is a family owned business, with boss candle maker, Shannyn as the driving force behind the brand. As well as running Soy Society and pouring all of your beautiful candles, Shannyn is a mother to two beautiful children Stevi and Kade, and two beautiful step sons Kye and Miller. Shannyn is not only, mum and chief candle maker but a police prosecutor for Victoria Police. Candles have always been a source of beauty and calm in Shannyns life, as a lover of candles, relaxation and all things luxe she decided to embrace her creative flair and design experience by creating and bringing Soy Society to life. 'I hope my candles bring a little bit of love and light to your life' - Shannyn At Soy Society we create our Sculptural Drip Candles not for their scent, but as design pieces; everyday sculptures in wax that mesmerise as they slowly burn down and change shape. We focus on the experience of natural light, the tranquillity of simply watching the flickering of a flame and the shadow it throws. Unscented candles create ambiance in a room. The soft glow and warm illumination provide a sense of comfort, relaxation, and even beauty. A large part of life is made up of little moments; a cup of freshly brewed coffee, a glass of wine, good food with friends. Candlelight can enhance and even create these moments, but you don't always want to add scent to that mix. So while a scented candle can be a lovely addition to a bathroom or bedroom, we believe you should keep artificial scents away from your dining area, or from anywhere else you enjoy food & drinks. In our minds, the key to enjoying any experience is to be able to focus fully on it, and not be distracted by simultaneous experiences that overwhelm your senses. Our sculptural candles provide just that; the opportunity to enjoy candlelight without being overwhelmed by fragrance. We do, however, offer a collection of traditional scented vessels that have been designed to aesthetically compliment our sculptural drip collection - for those who love a lil' scent in their lives.
